4. How long does it take to ship products?
“In Stock” items will be sent within one business day. Most special orders will ship within 7 business days.
5. Does Copper Elegance offer a guarantee?
Copper Elegance 100% guarantees that are products are free of defects. All of our products are hand made so we cannot guarantee exact color. Additionally some minor variances may be present when comparing your product from the photos shown on the website.
6. How do I return a product?
Special Orders: We do not accept returns on special order items. If however a product is delivered with a defect you may contact us within 3 days to receive return authorization. Upon receiving the product we will repair or replace defective product at our discretion and ship it back to you.
In Stock items: In stock items may be returned within 30 days of receipt for any reason. A full refund will be given (less shipping and handling) upon return. Pleas contact us for a return authorization number prior to shipping product back. In stock items will be designation on the website with words “In Stock” all other items are considered special order.
7. How do I care for my exterior copper products?
Exterior Copper products are pretty much maintenance free. All copper will patina over time. If you desire to have shinny copper, you will need to clean and seal the copper every couple of years.
8. How do I care for my interior Copper products?
For basic cleaning, simply use a mild soap and water. Other cleaners are not necessary. We recommend that you dry your copper products by wiping it down periodically with a soft cloth. For extra protection, a copper wax may be applied to the copper surface periodically. This will help maintain the luster and provide better water runoff. Do not use corrosives, such as chlorine or concentrated vinegar, abrasive cleaners, or harsh chemicals on the copper. These substances may damage the finish of the copper product. Copper is a metal, and like all metallic surfaces, may scratch. It is non-porous and will not stain in the traditional sense of the word. However, copper will obtain a patina, which is a chemical change that causes the metal to change color. Most of our copper finishes are accelerated patinas.
